Had to watch Adventures in Babysitting for work (Style network is airing it this weekend and it comes in 3:45 short). They wanted us to fill the extra time with humorous content, but we can’t license any clips, stills, or screengrabs from the movie. Sweet, right? Turns out there is actually a lot to talk about.
- Why does Elisabeth Shue dress like a 45-year-old woman? She is a beautiful girl, stunning, but she really doesn’t show it off like she should.
- Is this not the most racist movie ever made?? The black people are all car thieves or uptight blues club-goers. Although, they turn out to be very easily swayed by a self-pitying babysitter blues riff.
- Vincent D’onofrio is hot! And stoic! He should show his arms more on Law & Order.
- Bradley Whitford is so hot. Like incredibly hot. Mostly because he’s a huge asshole, which he always is, I’d like to think he’s not in real life but I trust Jane Kaczmarek’s judgment. If I were Jane Kaczmarek I would divorce the real him and then masturbate to this movie every night.
- She is the coolest most mature 17-year-old ever! She needs to lose her friend Brenda though.
