Another cool indie designer featured on my Etsy blog!  I love this one.

Spotlight on: Prairie Oats

Prairie Oats isn’t just selling super-cool jewelry from recycled vintage materials, it’s selling a whole way of life.  A life where I have a loft downtown with a poured concrete floor and a big wolf dog and fashionable ponchos and the leather on my boots is peeling off intentionally.  That sort of life!

You need to just go there, but here are some highlights:

Bullet-shell earrings with a real quartz crystal set in each (swoon!)

This brass fringe necklace (where did they find a suit of armor???)

Hipster’s delight - a necklace made out of a skeleton key, a feather, and an arrowhead (are you kidding me?)

And these perfect-blend-of-relaxed-and-elegant rhinestone arrowhead earrings.

There’s a lot more, with new designs cropping up all the time.  The pics are beautiful and you can tell exactly what the store would look like if they had a physical space.  I hope they get one.  I go there all the time in my mind!
